Advanced Canyoning (Level 4)

 Canyoning: Description.

Descents which are highly physically and / or technically demanding and as such should be taken on with the strictest respect.

Canyoning: Requeriments.

  • A good level of fitness and an ability to swim correctly.
  • It is important that participants regularly go trekking or participate in other activities in the mountains to ensure that participants are accustomed to walking on rough, stony terrain.
  • It is essential to have adequate experience canyoning and to be familiar with abseiling and safety techniques.
  • Participants are obliged to do an easier canyon descent before undertaking a level 4 descent so that the guide can evaluate the aptitude of the group.
