Level 1: Family Canyoning

FAMILY Canyoning (Level 1)

 Canyoning: Description.

Aquatic Canyoning can be described as exploring the course of a river. Our family orientated trips are to canyons that do not present any serious difficulties. Your journey will include a combination of narrow gorges with beautifully sculpted walls, punctuated with tranquil pools and beautiful waterfalls. You and your family will enjoy the spectacular scenery not forgetting the fun of occasional jumps and natural slides on the way.

You will be accompanied at all times by an expert guide. There is often an optional abseil for those who are keen to learn the technique. Abseiling will allow you to visit more demanding canyons and experience more of the sensations of canyoning. The length of the activity can be easily adapted to the needs of each group. The maximum size of the group is 10.

Canyoning: Requeriments.

No previous experience is needed to try canyoning. You just need to be able to swim or at least be unafraid of water. A general level of fitness which allows you to spend a full day in the mountains.

These activities have been chosen especially for families. Participants should be 5 years old or above.

Children need the permission of a parent or guardian. To ensure that children enjoy the trip it is important that they are keen on sports and nature, outgoing and sociable and able to get along well with the guide.
