How to reach Alquézar - Sierra de Guara
If you are coming from Lleida or Barcelona:
Take the N-240 from Lleida, passing Binefar and Monzon to arrive at Barbastro.
Do not enter the town centre but continue along the National (with Barbastro on your right) until you see the Hospital-SALUD- on your left. A short distance after this take the exit on your right, signposted “Colegiata de Alquezar” (A-1232). From hereon Alquezar is well signed.
If you are coming from France - Ainsa:
When you reach Barbastro (after various towns and villages) join the N-240 direction Huesca (to the right).(You shouldn’t attempt to enter the town centre). After 1.5 km you will see the Hospital-SALUD- to your left. A short distance after this take the exit on your right, signposted “Colegiata de Alquezar” (A-1232). From hereon Alquezar is well signed.
If you are coming from Huesca:
From Huesca take the N-240 direction Barbastro, Lleida. After some 23 kms. you will pass through Angues. 3 kms. later is the crossroads for Alquezar. This comes up rather quickly after a large downhill stretch and having crossed the River Alcanadre. Take the slip-road to the right (Signed “Sierra de Guara”) to cross the N-240 direction Abiego, Alquezar, Bierge. In 20 kms. you will arrive in Alquezar, passing through Abiego, Adahuesca and Radiquero.

How to reach the Casa Tintorero hostel
Just before reaching Alquezar turn left at the roundabout towards the main village car park. This is composed of various parking levels.
Park the car and on foot (leaving luggage in the car) follow the trail of the red and blue arrows to Albergue Tintorero. Don’t try to go by car - vehicular access is prohibited down the street with the red arrows. This is the street that you have to take to get to the Albergue (see the map).
How to arrive at the Vertientes Aventura guides office
Just before reaching Alquezar turn right at the roundabout. In about 300 metres park your car on the left at the entrance of the village.
